Her whimsical additions of colour and titles are combined with her technically accomplished drawings to create surreal-realism work, unique to Astra’s imagination.

Astra has written and illustrated two children’s books. The Blue Tit Travels Africa is the beginning of a big adventure for the brave little main character.
Starting in Africa The Blue Tit Travels series will explore each continent highlighting beautiful and endangered animals along the way.

About Astra…
Based in the Artistic haven of Aldeburgh on the Suffolk coast of England, Astra is a self taught artist creating fine art with pen, ink, an abundance of imagination and a touch of humour.
Astra has exhibited and sold internationally including London, New York, Singapore, Dallas and Hong Kong. Astra has Gallery representation, her work was exhibited at the United Nations Climate Change Conference COP26 and was shortlisted for The David Shepherd Wildlife Artist of the Year Award.
